Lab Results: Every Batch, Public, Independent

Every batch of Just Chill hemp THC drinks is third-party tested by Tentamus Labs, before it ships. Tests verify cannabinoid potency (the 4mg of Delta-9 THC and 4mg of CBD on the label, confirmed in the can), screen for heavy metals, pesticides, and residual solvents, and confirm hemp-derived Delta-9 THC stays under the federal 0.3% by dry weight threshold. Each batch's Certificate of Analysis (COA) lives below, named by batch code so you can match the can in your hand to the document.

What we test for

Cannabinoid potency (THC, CBD, minor cannabinoids), pesticides (50+ panel), heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), residual solvents, microbial contaminants (E. coli, Salmonella, yeast/mold), mycotoxins

Who tests it

Tentamus Labs. ISO 17025-accredited, independently owned, paid per test rather than per pass.

How often

Every batch. New runs ship with a fresh COA before any cans leave our warehouse.

How to Find Your Batch Code

The batch code is printed on the bottom of each can. Match the code to the row above to find that batch’s COA.

A Certificate of Analysis is a one or two-page document. The most important sections, in order:

  • Sample identifier — The batch code, sample receipt date, and matrix (in our case, "beverage" or "infused beverage"). Make sure the batch code matches your can.
  • Cannabinoid profile — A table showing how many milligrams of each cannabinoid are present per serving (per can). Look for "Delta-9 THC" and "CBD". Just Chill cans should show 4 mg of each, give or take a small variance allowed by law.
  • Pesticides, heavy metals, solvents, microbials — Each column should show "PASS" or "ND" (Not Detected). If anything reads as "FAIL," the batch doesn't ship.
  • Lab info and signature — The accredited testing facility's name, license number, and the analyst signature with date.

If anything on a Just Chill COA doesn't match what we say on the can, email us at hello@drinkjustchill.com and we'll figure out why immediately.

  • Why does Just Chill publish COAs?

Because hemp THC products are barely regulated and a lot of brands skip third-party testing entirely. Posting every batch’s COA publicly is the simplest way to prove what’s in the can matches what’s on the label.

  • Is the testing required by law?

Federal law doesn’t require batch-level testing for hemp beverages, but state law often does. We test every batch regardless of state.

  • What does “ND” mean on a COA?

ND = “Not Detected.” It means the lab tested for that compound and found none above their detection limit.

  • What if a batch fails testing?

That batch doesn’t ship. We don’t sell what doesn’t pass.

  • How long are COAs kept?

We keep all COAs publicly available for at least 24 months past the batch’s best-by date. Older batches available on request at hello@drinkjustchill.com.

  • Do you test for Delta-8, Delta-10, or other cannabinoids?

Yes, the cannabinoid profile on each COA includes Delta-9 THC, Delta-8 THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBG, CBC, and others.

  • Is the lab independent?

Yes. We use Tentamus Labs, an ISO 17025-accredited testing facility with no ownership relationship to Just Chill or our manufacturer. They are paid per test, not per pass.
